Living With Embodied Agency
I believe every person has the right to live with a sense of embodied agency—where your longings, boundaries, and needs can be felt, honoured, and expressed. My work supports individuals to access to the internal safety and nourishment that live in their body, as well as relationships that support you as you move through life’s pressures, joys, and challenges.
An Embodied Approach to Healing
My work centres on somatic and embodied approaches to psychotherapy, supporting individuals through practices that build awareness, presence, and new possibilities in the body. While talk therapy relies primarily on language to explore emotional experience, somatic work integrates words and the wisdom of sensation, emotion, movement, and creativity. Together, we practise slowing down, tuning inward, and interrupting old survival patterns so you can shape new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Training in Somatic and Expressive Arts Therapies
I completed graduate-level training as a Dance/Movement Therapist (DMT) through the National Centre for Dance Therapy in Montreal. I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, which supports the integration of somatic and neurobiological approaches to trauma healing. In addition, I am a member of the Ontario Expressive Arts Therapy Association and Dance Movement Therapy Association in Canada, which grounds my work in creativity and the expressive arts as a pathway to transformation.
